Fighting for our future.
Hank for State Representative, House District 52
Why I’m Running
As a reporter for The New York Times, I’ve stood up to corporations.
Working in the Oregon Senate, I’ve helped pass progressive policies.
Growing up in Oregon, I know that this is the most amazing place in the world.
We face huge challenges. But with energetic leadership, a track record of fighting back, and experience passing policies, we can fight for a better future.

Fighting for our future.
About me
I grew up in rural Oregon. I left home for college and my career in journalism, eventually reporting for The New York Times.
Journalists are professional listeners. After moving home, I heard my neighbors sounding the alarm about the future of the Gorge.
Running for
House District 52
I want to protect East Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, Hood River, and The Dalles for today and future generations.
My advocacy missions
Protect our people
I will fight to preserve our communities and our culture.
No sale of public lands
I will never support the sale or pollution of our lands and waters.
No tax hikes
I will not support any new taxes on low income, rural Oregonians.
