I will institute Oregon’s first Home Hardening Task Force: a team that educates families in rural Oregon on how to harden their homes. A similar system in California and Colorado have led to decreases in insurance rates.

I will fight every day for more affordable housing. But affordable housing also means ensuring that housing STAYS affordable. We need to ensure that costs are reduced for all home owners around the counties.
