Reduce Medicaid Cuts

In 2025, Trump led HR1 which will kick millions off Medicaid through arcane paperwork and eligibility requirements. This threatens our hospital closures and staff layoffs.

That’s why I will work to create the Agency of Medicaid Paperwork Support (AMPS). AMPS will help people fill out paperwork and stay on Medicaid. These employees will come from The Department of Human Services in Oregon.

This is a policy that healthcare leaders throughout the Gorge have called for. The damage of Trump’s legislation can be reduced with AMPS.
